Nov 2017 – With all the hype and publicity around the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) over the last few months, it’s easy for one to think that all (or most) businesses are aware of the impending regulations and will have begun to put into place a strategy to achieve a state of compliance before the May 25th deadline next year. However, a recent survey by Dublin Information Sec 2017 has showed that over half of respondents surveyed said they were unprepared for GDPR. Furthermore, 32% of respondents said they were unaware of the implications of the new regulations. Worrying figures for business owners and not something that should be taken lightly. Read more
