We are Proud to Announce that supportIT are now ISO 27001 Certified.

ISO 27001 is one of the most widely recognized and internationally accepted information security standards. A systematic approach consisting of processes, technology and people, ISO 27001 helps organisations protect and manage all their information assets through effective risk assessment and management.

supportIT prepared for the certification over a period of 12 months. Initially by preparing policy, procedure and infrastructure documentation and then by going through a series of internal and external audits to ensure the requirements of ISO 27001 were met and the system was implemented effectively. The final certification audit was completed by Certification Europe in May 2022 which was passed after supportIT demonstrated an ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting the company and customer information.

‘This certification validates our efforts and shows overall commitment to IT Security and Data protection,’ said Joe McGivern, MD, supportIT. ‘Essentially however nothing really has changed for our clients; we have always tried to give best practice security advise and we will continue to do so – IT Security is the cornerstone of a lot of the work we do.’
