May 2016 – supportIT are now offering ESET endpoint security & anti-virus as a monthly managed service to new and existing clients. With this new offering, called the ESET MSP programme, clients have a lot more flexibility with their anti-virus; new user licenses can be added/removed in real-time, and there are no more renewals so clients can very easily activate or terminate the product. The product is also managed directly from a dedicated management console, which gives supportIT more control as the service provider.
‘Certainly, we are seeing a preference with clients for the ‘software as a service model’ because it is line with existing managed service contracts for their IT support and can be started/stopped in line with contract dates as well. Plus, the costs are essentially the same.
